Lecture: The Ninth Painting: A Case Study of Trans-Himalayan Art

John Johnston presents an illustrated exploration of the interconnectivity of Buddhist kingdoms and cultures in the Himalayan region. In addition, Mr. Johnston will also present images of a rare and unpublished set of nine Tibetan paintings, the only known complete set of this type including the long lost "Ninth Painting," that he found in Bhutan.
