Education: Workshop Tour

This workshop follows a timeline of cultural and artistic changes as students discover the implications of Columbus’ 1492 voyage. 

Students will explore the Pre-Columbian, Spanish Colonial, Folk Art and Contemporary art galleries in our Latin American Wing and conclude the trip with a related art project.  Meets many Social Studies, Fine Art and Spanish Cultural and Linguistic 3-12 TEKS.  Ideal for World Studies, 4^th and 7^th grade Texas History and Spanish classes.
