Education: Workshop Tour

Students will travel East from India to China, and cross the sea to Japan in this Asian-themed workshop. 

Participants will see various cultural artifacts along the way including a Tibetan sand mandala, a Japanese carriage (palanquin) and two reconstructed rooms from Imperial China.  This adventure concludes with a related art project.  Meets many Social Studies, Fine Art and Asian Linguistic and Cultural 3-12 TEKS.
